Thanksgiving Week!!

Hopefully you guys all enjoy Thanksgiving in a couple of days and to help make it fun until then, I'm going to post some questions that you guys should comment on =).

1. Who is your least favorite character to play as?
2. Who do you like playing against?
3. Who do you not like playing against?

I will go first
1. Ganon
2. Ivan, Angel and Lance(Peach) -Ivan and Lance because of the competition and Angel because I never get tired of the Chain Grab. =)
3. Anm - I just plain don't like Ike LOL

Tournament Rules

Since we now do tournaments, I believe it is time to make some rules =)
1. FD is not the only neutral map, so I believe we should do random map selection with all the neutral maps.
2. The time limit, the first tournament IVAN won in sudden death, to ensure that doesn't happen again.

• For 3 stock, time limit should be 7 minutes
• For 2 stock, time limit should be 4 minutes

 3. Players that leave in the middle of the tournament will automatically forfeit.  This is happens in the final match, that player will not recieve any points.
4. Kirby-cide and Bowser's Suicide Claw, if the match ends in sudden death, the win goes to Kirby or Bowser.
5. NO STALLING (Now that the time issue has been resolved there should be no excuse to stall)

Okay, so today we had another tournament today (14 players) and here are the standings:
PK(Wolf) +10, +4 (3 stocked bonus)
RYU(Pikachu) +5
AQD(Snake) +3
ED~(Mr. Game & Watch) +1


Also, tournament standings from 11/18 (9 players):

So current standings, as of  today are:

Tournaments

The purpose of these daily tournaments will help me determine how we will rank players.  Arguably since most players do not come everyday and some players do come everyday, it makes it harder to determine ranks.  So I suggest that specific guidelines be made.  But if the top4 are consistent throughout then it serves no problem =).

If anyone has any suggestions, comment =).
For example, mwf people are ranked and tth people are ranked for their respective days.

Also, when we do tournaments. 
FINAL DESTINATION IS NOT THE ONLY NEUTRAL STAGE.
so we should be able to choose the stage for each match.

On an added note: SDSU is hosting a SSBB tournament on Friday Nov. 20th.  I think at 8 or 9 p.m.

Lesson of the Day:  Spot Dodge
Learn to utilize the Spot Dodge to close in the field between you and your opponent (projectile user).  Also for when you are already close in, spot dodge allows you to dodge most of the short framed attacks.

Hey all you smashers @ state.  Sorry it took so long to get this up, but it finally is. YAY!  Alright, basically what happens is, since not everyone comes everyday, different things will happen on each day.  Last tuesday we had a tournament which Chris won (good job), I figure we can continue this but set a different time.  Since alot of players could not play in it.  But there is also a time conflict with alot of players as well.  Since most players can not stay for the entire time.  I suggest brackets be formed to make it so that everyone can play. But we can elaborate on this later. =)
